Michael Bellamy

Solutions Consultant

Michael Bellamy is a Solutions Consultant at The Information Lab US, where he helps organizations design scalable analytics frameworks, modernize reporting practices, and enable self-service decision-making across a variety of industries and data analytics environments.

In his current role, Michael partners with clients to assess analytics maturity, define BI strategy, and lead solution design for governed, sustainable analytics systems. His work focuses on replacing ad-hoc reporting with repeatable frameworks that support executive decision-making, operational insight, and long-term adoption. He also serves as a Team Lead for consultants on placement, providing technical mentorship and delivery guidance across client engagements.

Prior to this role, Michael spent two years as a Data Analytics Consultant at The Information Lab US, delivering client-facing Tableau and Alteryx solutions and leading end-to-end analytics engagements. His work during this period emphasized analytics accessibility, governance, and scalable delivery patterns.

Michael completed The Data School New York, The Information Lab’s professional development program, where he gained hands-on experience across multiple industries and contributed to enterprise dashboard development, data pipeline optimization, and analytics enablement initiatives.

With over 12 years of experience spanning consulting, business strategy, and analytics, Michael brings a systems-oriented perspective to data work. He holds an MBA in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, grounding his technical expertise in organizational context and decision-making dynamics.

In addition to client delivery, Michael contributes to analytics training and enablement initiatives, helping teams build confidence and capability in using data effectively.

Outside of work, he enjoys mentoring, traveling, exploring nature, spending time with family, and following Liverpool F.C.
